Pupil of the year 2007

Gary

Burley School of Motoring is proud to present a unique, new Pupil of the year Award.

What is the award for, exactly?

The award is designed to reward not only technically able pupils, but those who show vital personal attributes which make them an all-round skilful, intuitive and safe driver.

Is it taken only from current pupils? Is there an age range?

The Burley Pupil of the year Award is aimed at recognising current pupils of any age who show sterling qualities during their training.

What is the award?

The Pupil of the Year Award consists of a Pass Plus course, to be taken at a time convenient to the award winner.

What qualities do you look for in pupils when choosing your recipient?

Courage, determination and barrow-loads of sheer grit are all vital components of the best drivers.

Why have you started up this award?

Chris Barker explains: ‘Burley School of Motoring teaches numerous people, from many diverse backgrounds and walks of life, to drive.

‘There’s always someone one who, for one reason or another, has had to try just that little bit harder. It is with these admirable people in mind that the Burley Pupil of the Year award has been created.’
